When I was writing “Gribblebob’s Book of Unpleasant Goblins” I found that it really helped to have the right sort of music playing while I wrote.  Some people like to write in silence, some people like to write to classical music, some people like pop music and some people just like to whistle to themselves.

I can’t whistle (or ride a bike) and I love all sorts of music, but I found that when writing “Gribblebob” I took a lot of inspiration from folk music, both British and American, but especially Martin Simpson.  Here is a Spotify list of the music I listened to while I wrote, just in case you’re interested!
